The ground rules for using Noduly. Plain language, in good faith.

Last updated: May 7, 2026

This page summarizes our terms in clear language. By using Noduly, you agree to them. If anything is unclear, please reach out before using the service.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Noduly website and the modular educational web apps it hosts (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is provided by Noduly ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who can use Noduly

The Service is intended for general audiences and is suitable for use by students, educators, and learners of any age. If you are using the Service on behalf of an institution (such as a school or classroom), you represent that you have the authority to do so.

3. The service

Noduly is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial educational use. We make no commitment that the Service will be available without interruption, error-free, or suitable for any particular curriculum, certification, or assessment. Module content is reviewed for accuracy but may contain errors, omissions, or values that differ from your preferred reference source.

You should not rely on Noduly as your sole source for information that has real-world consequences (medical, legal, financial, safety, or graded academic decisions). Cross-check anything important.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reasonable, good-faith educational use — including saving a module to your device for offline study — is welcome.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, organization, and original written content, is owned by Noduly and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. Many factual data sets within the modules (e.g., element properties, country statistics) are not themselves copyrightable, and we make no claim of ownership over such facts.

You may link to Noduly freely. You may not copy substantial portions of the Service to host elsewhere without permission.

6. Third-party content

Some modules include data, references, or imagery sourced from public or third-party origins (e.g., Wikipedia, public-domain references, government data). Where this is the case, the original source retains its rights, and any applicable attribution will be visible within the module.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Noduly will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Noduly is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
